Tench and Bream fishing partney brick pits

Today i decided to go down to Partney Brick Pits fishing for bream and tench. I got down to the venue at 3:00pm. I headed for peg 7 as the wind was blwing into and it has a nice lilly pad. i got my pole out and fished at around 7-8 metres up to the lilly pad. The float i was using for my rig was a 0.5g drennan tipo with the yellow antennae. I am a really big fan of these floats as you can change the top very easily and they are a nice pattern. The mainline i was using was 0.16 straight throught to the hook. The hook was a drennan specimen hook in size 14. i was using an olivette to get the bait down also with some number eight stots. My feed today was hemp seed and trout pellets. Very good for bream and tench. my hookbaits for today was trout pellet paste, krill paste, worms and small 4mm pellets. Now for the fishing. The first drop in resulted in a small common of around a pound in weight. A lovely conditioned fish. The next drop in resulted with a crucain carp of around 6 ounces. The next few put ins resulted with a few rudd and roach and the odd perch. I then had an ide of around a pound. I then had a loverly bream of around 5lb. Beautiful fish.

Next drop in resulted in a tench of around three pounds.

Then heavens opened so it was time to pack up. Tight lines The Obsessive Angler
